I'm working on starting a new web 2.0 service that caters to the autos industry. I feel like there is a missing link in the market between people who like technologies offered by AutoTrader, (URL removed), etc. and people who like free classifieds like CraigsList. The site I have in mind is a combination of the two with the best of each service represented and the worst remedied. As you may know, advertisers in the autos industry come with deep pockets and this new idea is pretty straight forward, relatively easy to implement and has a pretty good revenue potential from ad support. The key to success and building the barrier to entry is in the support for marketing and building the volume of users as soon as it launches.
