HI-ficiency is a cell culture manufacturing company that has acquired the Cell Culture business unit from the BioVeris Corporation which was purchased by Roche Diagnostics (who planned on shutting down this unit because they do not fit into their business plan for the newly acquired BioVeris). Initially three (3) products with greater than ten (10) years of profitable sales will be manufactured and sold through direct sales and global distribution by distributors [Sigma-Aldrich (Global), Fisher Scientific (Global), Irvine Scientific (US and Europe), PAA (Canada), VWR, and AR Brown (Japan)]who distributed the products for BioVeris.
