Maupin Development was started in 1977 and during that time Maupin Development has developed fourteen housing projects using funding by Rural Development and low income tax credits. We also have developed commercial properties, built houses, and rehabed houses and apartments. We started a management company in the eighties and currently manage 11 propeties with a total of 317 units. MaupinDevelopemment has alsoworked for Housing Authorities, developed applications with Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and provided consultation services to other developers. We recently received tax credits in the 2007 application cycle but due to the collapse of the tax credit market for rural areas we are returning the credits and applying for forward committements for 2009 as I beleive the demand for credits will be better in the second half of 2009.
