It has been my experiance that Internet Explorer crashes once in awhile and I do not have alot of hours using linux, But my application also works on Ubuntu using Wine. OBJECTIVE2: funding to start franchising the software i have developed over the past 20 some odd years 'TheBestOfPicturePerfect' the software source code cannot be sold for any less than 80,000 dollar US SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: - Over twenty five years of experience with personal computers and network applications(Attachmate 3270,Novel Client32,Oracle 8i, Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC) and proprietary). OSI. ftp,smtp persistant objects Started with a napkin and flipped it like kids flip cards. - Customer service department - On-site and Depot maintenance. - Worked closely with accounting firms, Plante-Moran, Deloitte and Touche, Arthur Anderson, and KPMG for major retailers and government. - Developed International Standard 422 multi-drop communication link for proprietary hand held laser barcode scanners with Symbol Corporation. - Managed graphics on the front end terminal for easy access to product information, information gathering, department, grand totals and tax changes. - Demonstrated front end "Open-Systems" terminal operations using simple screens and our own authoring tool at "Retail Systems 94", "96", and "Comdex 95". - Managed 4 technical programmers and 10 field technicians having there own seperate specialties: graphics, artificial intelligence, peripheral interfaces, and cross-platform similarities, and proprietary systems. - Developed an authoring tool 'PicturePerfect' for Win32 with Double Byte Character Set (DBCS) that is used to teach business students at the University of Tokyo and assisted in hardware development of I.T. ( Intelligent Terminal ). This PC was easy to maintain and increased location up-time and checkout speed ( Kyocera Corporation, Tokyo, Japan). - programmed for netbios and tcpip - programmed in WatIV(V),cobol,assembler,RPG,c and c++ - Now working on *Windows Vista Ultimate. - worked on systems in retail,grocery,restaurant,treasureys,animal care facility, medical care,probate court and clerks offices. - both public and private sectors. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: - Working on the 'TheBestofPicturePerfect', using touch and/or writing/reading pad standalone or wireless computer interface device. No more Reed switches (keyboards) and i gained alot of performance too! Using Open Watcom 1.7 which i have used from the start of this graphics binary compatible cross platform ( windows - linux ) windowed executable. humanly possible integrity = 150,000 lines of code "c-users journal" is that just an exe? A C dll (logging 0 errors 0 warnings at warning level 9 ) 4 files with warnings c++ dll, ( datareel holds warnings I don't ) and an exe (no warnings or errors of course ). I began writing a book called TheBestOfPicturPerfect, on how to build a windowed graphics application. 2005-Present - continueing work on a portable graphics terminal and sharpening my programming skills in C++. 'TheBestofPicturePerfect' is now working on *Windows Vista Ultimate and works on Ubuntu with wine (binary compatible) using a IBM Tablet Personal Computer by Lenovo. Formerly:Great Lakes Cash Register, incorporated. 1-1-1985 - 12-1-2005 - One of the two owners of Great Lakes Data Systems a $3 million sales and 350 business clients corporation in fast-food, retail, grocery, and government offices. - Designed, built, tested and repaired work areas for the Point-of-Sale (POS). - Converted software from Disk Operating System (DOS) to Operating System 2 (*OS2) to win9x to New Technology (NT-win32) using C and C++ Object-oriented techniques. - We became an industry leader in touch screen technology. - Sold $4 million in Symbol LRT's and point-of-sale. - put in more than 1 million dollars in a graphical terminal effort.
