Description:
Mercher Industrias Medicas’ (“Mercher”) telemedicine healthcare strategy was formulated more than three (3) years ago to enable healthcare professionals to provide Primary Health Care to distant patient populations, where 70% or more of their medical needs fall into this category of medical care. Those that have additional medical needs can be referred for treatment elsewhere. Research has shown that approximately 60 medications are commonly used to treat these patients, and Mercher’s current Drug Dispensary system can dispense up to 70 medications to meet these needs.
Employing a team of design and electrical engineers, hardware and software developers, and medical personnel familiar with the basic needs, Mercher has developed and tested several telemedicine kiosks and medicine dispensary prototypes. This telemedicine hardware is powered by Mercher's proprietary software using cloud computing.
Currently, Mercher is the only Mexican company seeking approval for its telemedicine systems from COFEPRIS (Mexican FDA) to enable them to be sold in the Mexican market. Mercher’s competitive advantage comes from its digital health platform, which to the best of our knowledge, is poised to deliver the best basic care with the least inefficiency at the lowest cost.
Once government approval from Mexico is obtained and an export permit issued, Mercher’s marketing strategy to sell or lease to the Latin & South American countries will be a reality. We are also going through process of getting FDA approved. Either approval materializes, we can export anywhere.
