Description:
I have a general idea of the systems I would like to implement at The Urban Farm and Educational Center however they may change as the demand allows. I see a future of greenhouse growing for food production into the Michigan winters supplying a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year. I envision a place of refuge for the homeless who are willing to provide labor on the Urban Farm in exchange for a temporary place to stay while they put plans into place for self sufficiency. I envision a educational center where children and adults can come and learn agriculture and how it can benefit and enrich the lives of the community members.
