Kaleidoscope Designs provides a range of services to business owners and home owners including interior design, faux painting, interior/exterior painting, graphic design/ marketing and also fine art.
My goal is to fine-tune my business and move it into a studio/gallery. I have 23 years experience in marketing & art/design, but just started my fine-art endeavor this year. Within one year, my art has been selling very well (started in March 2008, and 20 pieces have been sold independently and through other galleries.) I want to continue to create and sell my art in the studio/gallery, but also want to teach art children of all ages which will help them generte income for their college education through the gallery. I would also offer classes to adults and I intend to support other emerging artists in a co-op situation. Finally, through the gallery, I will offer a design center where businesses and homeowners can come for reputable & proven contractors for everything they will need for improvement of their business/home.
In one way or another I have been in businesses for myself for 19 years and make a decent income doing so. However, I have always managed my business from my home. This is the first time I have wanted to take it to the next level with a gallery/showroom. I have a 1900 s.f. location in an excellent part of Littleton with high traffic for a reasonable monthly rate that I'm looking at. I am seeking capital to get signage, set up the gallery with a computer/furniture and displays, build out walls and for initial marketing endeavors.
I already have a charitable foundation I'm working with that will support me in promotions, and I have several contractors and artists who want to participate in the co-op. All I need is some $$ to hop on this and have it ready to open by January 1, 2009.
