Description:
First Capitol Picturers is a fledgling motion picture production company. We own two finished screenplays. The screenplays were written to appeal to a very wide female audience. They are romantic comedies and you could call them “chick flicks”. The first is “Peaches”. It is a romantic comedy about a women in her early 40s. After 22 years of marriage to an older man, she loses her husband.. She becomes depressed and has feelings of guilt. Her actions are at times strange and are humorous. In time she begins to recover from her depression and guilt. She finds a new love interest. This film will bring tears to your eyes. It will bring warmth to your heart. And a lot of laughter. I have Heather Locklear to play the female lead and Larry Hagman to play a cameo of the husband who dies. His smiling face is the keynote of the film. Production costs are $3.5 to $4 million. I am projecting a domestic gross of $35 to $50 Million
The second movie is Ellie’s Original. It is a coming of age story and a romantic comedy. It is about three university women who cope with the conflicts of family demands, the realities of their present day world and their own self image. It revolves around the decisions that they each make in their journey to becoming independent and adults. The cast for this film are all actors in their early 20s. At present it will be shot in Tucson AZ around the University of AZ. Preliminary budget for this project is around $1.5 million. This film could also have a domestic gross of better than $30 million
The numbers are simple. This is a risk investment with an extremely high potential return..
