Judgment recovery is a business that has only been around for a short time but is faining national attention. 80% of court ordered judgments will go unenforced. When we contact judgment holders they have given up hope of ever seeing their money, thus they are willing to pay the 50% fee we change once the judgment is enforced by use. There is no up front cost to the judgment holder as all fees or costs incurred are added onto the judgment and retrieved from the debtor. The average judgment is $1,500.00 plus interest at 10% a year. Most of our judgments will be at least 1 to 2 years old or older. In 2007, California had over 650,000 unenforced judgments. Once a judgment is assigned to use, we are able to use resources available to us in the industry to gain the information needed to locate the debtor.
