Catie's Place is my brainchild. I am endeavoring to start a small restaurant in the village/town of Gwinn Michigan, where there is one or two food service places to eat. There is a Subway and another tavern-typed place. My plan is to bring delicious, savory, comfort food into the area for those who may not want to travel 20 miles into Marquette for a more varied selection of restaurants. This area suffers greatly from the lack of enterprise and industry. These hardworking people would benefit greatly from the re-opening of this venue under my management. This restaurant, I believe is a win-win proposal, as the land, equipment, and building are being sold at the rock bottom price of 85,000. I regret to say that at 30 years old, my credit has been basically ruined due to my early and more naive days as a young adult, thus leaving me unable to obtain an independent loan. I really just need a shot to get this off the ground, as I am a determined, talented, and very intelligent woman and mother.
