Culinary Explorations is a culinary entertainment company offering live interactive cooking shows to tourists in various international locations to explore local cultures through their culinary traditions.
In the fall of 2008, we will begin offering live, interactive cooking shows to tourists at our first international location in Negril, Jamaica. We will explore the local island food culture at our oceanside, outdoor restaurant at Mary’s Bay, located on West End Road in Negril, with the lush scenery of the famous seven-mile beach and its mountains serving as the backdrop of the location.
Our Executive Chef (TBD) and our knowledgeable tour guides will take our guests on a flavorful journey as they prepare some of the most savory dishes Jamaica has to offer which everyone will enjoy after the show as a full buffet lunch. While guests learn about Jamaica’s culture, heritage, and local produce they will also experience firsthand how many of the island’s traditional dishes are prepared.
Our mission is to offer visitors to Jamaica an exciting new insight into the island’s rich culture and heritage via the exploration of its traditional cuisine. It is our intention to extend our operations to include cooking competitions as well as having the shows televised for an international audience. Within the next ten years we will expand our offerings to several other nations such as Sweden, France, Italy, Spain and Japan.
