GEMS Inc. was created in 2002 as a non profit organization inwhich GEMS Academy was created to help children with learning dis-abilities in an educational setting. GEMS Residential Center, a for profit organiza-tion was created in 2006. In developing feasibility studies, it was determined that a rural development would most improved the residents that CPS would be placing in our care. As long term Educators we developed programs for our school that was based on Errorless Learning. In the public and charter school settings its seems that many of the troubled youth had learning difficulties associated with trauma, emotional and psychological problems.
