Description:
I sell adaptive apparel to senior citizens. I started this company the summer of 07 and I need $50,000.00 to expand so that I can be competitive with other similar companies. I always do extra work and favors for my customers and they appreciate me but my orders take longer to deliver than other companies. My customers like me and want to order from me exclusively but they can’t always because of my delivery time delay. Also, I cannot promote my business vigorously because I do not have the inventory to support a mass of orders.
I need $50,000.00 to expand and now is a crucial time of year. I can sell a lot in November and December (enough to start me off for next year) if I just had enough inventory, more fixtures and space.
In a couple years I would like to start manufacturing the type of apparel that I sell now because I have some great clothing ideas to make disabled seniors more comfortable and happy.
I also want to hire employees to work in my warehouse and my office who need to get away from public assistance programs, for example; single parents. I my self, am a partially disabled, middle aged woman and cannot work a traditional job. I can however,
work 5 or 6 hours throughout the day and I stay away from applying for social security – disability. My retired mother is my assistant. She has a fixed income and can now earn extra money. I would appreciate any loan or contribution.
