The Freedom Institute is established on the principle idea of Self-Empowerment/Self-Determination.
The Institute offers a series of case based initiatives and customized action plans for the recently paroled. These programs are specifically designed to address the process of decompression from a lifestyle of incarceration. Our curriculum revolves around prominent yet under addressed themes such as; anger management, chronic addiction, syndromes of dysfunction and slight mental illness of troubled individuals that demonstratively may need additional support and responsive caring.
The Freedom Institute’s concept of empowerment enables clients openly engage in the identification of their individual unmet needs (“Help us, help you”). Through self-discovery/self-awareness methodologies and a comprehensive intake evaluation of self-disclosure, the Institute compels individuals to face their personal challenges or liabilities and begin to accentuate their assets by enhancing their positives. The overall intent is to inspire individuals from returning to any and all active forms or former criminal lifestyles
