My name is Ty and I am launching a new travel agency within the Kansas City, MO metro area. Travel in the U.S. alone generated $2 trillion dollars in 2012 according to the U.S. Travel Association. Oxford Economics reports that with every $1 spent on travel, a company realized a gain of $12.50. Those stats are rather motivating when thinking about entering the travel business.
My company, Bucket List Travel, will feature vacation spots and attractions that highlight the brilliance and luster the world has to offer because the difference between going here or there is the extraordinary in between. Bucket List Travel will bring out the magic that travel has to offer, whether that means to boost the intimacy between couples, strength the bonds between families or create life changing moments for our clients.
The initial startup is estimated at $120,000 for the first year. The company will expect to break even by the end of year 2 and estimated revenue for year 3 is $250,000. An angel investor or multiple investors would be ideal but we are open to multiple options.
