Description:
Trucker is an unsigned Rock/Alt Country band with 15-years of experience in the music industry. For an unsigned band, we have accomplished a great deal. We are experienced musically and have a firm grasp on both performing live and recording in the studio.
The primary function of a record label is as a financial lender. Using their experience in public relations/marketing and their existing pool of talent, they take that investment and attempt to turn it into profit.
Our goal is to find a financial backer that can handle the funding and assist us securing a recording contract. The expectation is that the record label is motivated to sign because they will be earning a quicker profit, the financial backer receives a return on their investment, and we can make a living creating music.
With this arrangement, the financial backer has very little to no outlay of funds during the acquisition of the recording contact. And once secured, has the added support of the record label to bolster the success of their investment.
