We just received a patent on our Medi-Winch Patient Mover. We are at the point where we need funds to manufacture a working prototype to try in real situations and to begin manufacturing. Our device is designed so one nurse can move a patient up to 1000 pounds from a stretcher to a bed or visa versa or reposition the patient on the bed (pull them up) or can roll them on their side to be treated for bed sores, etc. This is not a lifting device. This is only to move patients horizontally or roll them on their side.
