Hines Aircraft (URL removed) launching a new and innovative aircraft propulsion technology that represents a giant leap forward in aviation history.
Current testing is proving that this pioneering propulsion technology is resulting in an aircraft with greater power, performance and comfort, and costing far less to operate by utilizing the spectacular fuel efficient Hines Pod Propulsion System.
Our propulsion technology is disruptive and initial testing already indicates that it's 200% more efficient than current propeller technology.
The project has the backing of both Industry and Academia. Reyerson University's Aerospace Engineering Program and Mecachrome Technologies Toronto have been working on this project and wish to be part of our ongoing development.
Close to 50% of Mecachrome's engineers have over 20 years experience and is made up of former McDonnell Douglas Canada / Boeing Toronto Ltd personnel. Mecachrome is a tier 1 level partner to Boeing. (Boeing "Global Collaborative")
In February 2009 Pratt & Whitney signed a NDA with Hines Aircraft Ltd.. Ongoing discussions with their Technical and Group Strategy teams are currently taking place.
