We are a small group of investors looking for a unique partnership. Need a venture capitalist that would loan money on a luxury property in Costa Rica. We have already purchased the property and invested over 200K. We want to circumvent the Costa Rica loan system by borrowing the remainder of the money from a private investor. We in turn will put up the property as a first mortgage and pay 8.5% interest on the balance of $450K. These are all investors with FICO scores of 750-800. We simply want to avoid 20K in closing costs on a loan in Costa Rica that we are already qualified for. This property is worth over 700K right now and we want to hold it for one year before selling it.
