My company has been in the cabinet business in Florida for the past five years or so. We have had a great deal of success and failures. The construction business, as you may well know, is nearly non existent in Florida. Our company is tied to that industry with sales that are about 95% new construction. Needless to say, we have lost substantial sums of money in the last two years.
In an effort to find new avenues in the cabinet industry, we have been exploring imports from China. While there are several sources for Chinese cabinets, few are of any quality. Recently we have contacted an importer with a cabinet line that is not only drop dead gorgeous, but is 25% the cost of a comparable cabinet offered in the United States.
