Description:
The Michigan Society for Cow Protection is a non profit organization formed in Michigan, in April 2008. We plan to establish an educational organic farm, where we will demonstrate the usefulness of the cow and oxen in establishing rural agriculture. We have 6 board members who have over 100 years combined veg, gardening experience. We need $100,000 for a down payment for a beautiful 80 acre farm in Dexter, Michigan that we will purchase for $800,000 with a three year land contract. We will begin by renting the farm for a year, starting next month, for $1,000 a month. The financial backbone of our project will be community supported agriculture, supplying 108 families with a bushel basket of fresh produce each week for 20 weeks during the growing season for a "share" of $475. Our farm will also be a healing center, small dairy, and eco village. WE believe God wants this project to (URL removed)nk you so much for your consideration.
