Greenfields Farmers Co. Ltd. (GFF), established in April 2021 is a subsidiary of Economic Plants Herbs Thai Suwannaphoon Co. Ltd. (EPHTS). GFF is specialized in providing next generation agriculture solutions and sustainable growing of agricultural products including but not limited to, vegetables and alternative medicines such Thai traditional herbs and Cannabis. The GFF team has a combined 50 years of experience in the agricultural sector including the growing of Cannabis related products. Our knowhow includes international standards for quality and sustainability.
In September 2021, EPHTS signed a Memorandum of University (MOU) with the Ratchamongklongesan University of Technology which was the first step in acquiring licensing to produce medical grade cannabis products in the Kingdom of Thailand. All related FDA licenses to grow, produce, possess and sell medical grade cannabis products, in addition to the import and export of cannabis products, are contractually shared with GFF (a subsidiary of EPHTS).
GFF core competency is the efficient growing of high-yield and high-quality, medical grade Cannabis using customized hydroponics systems. The company’s competitive advantage is product-differentiation offering better grade medical cannabis than the current competition in the market at a reduced cost through capacity optimization. As Thailand is easing restrictions relating to the legalization of Cannabis the market is opening for increased investment into the industry.
