Description:
I am a certified childbirth educator and doula. I currently only help a small amount of families. My ultimate goal for my community, is to open a one-stop shop for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I would love to offer a retail location, along with a place to offer childbirth courses, breastfeeding courses, parenting courses, pregnancy yoga, and much more. This has not been done anywhere in my community and mothers are craving this for their family needs.
My retail inventory would include items from local moms. They create wonderful gift ideas and creations that could help them be able to stay at home and provide for their families.
Banks are not lending to start-ups and I truly desire this. Many business professionals have agreed that this is not another espresso stand or restaurant. This is a great market idea and has not been done here before. Everyone is always having babies, but there aren't a lot of resources for them.
