6 Degrees Locator Services LLC., (6 Degrees), is a start up financial services company headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Our goal is to reunite our client’s with all “lost” property for which they are the beneficial owners in an efficient and cost effective manner. 6 Degrees will derive revenues pursuant to contracts with their clients that call for payment either in a traditional “consulting” model (hourly and/or retainer basis) or as a percentage of the lost assets reunited with the client.
The company’s initial focus will be on assisting institutions in the identification and recovery of “lost” assets. We locate and reunite unclaimed and abandoned property belonging to businesses, governmental entities and non–profit organizations on a contingency fee basis. This service is referred to herein as the “Corporate Asset Recovery” business.
The Corporate Asset Recovery business consists of numerous components (which are more fully described herein) and generally will encompass searching millions of published and unpublished records to identify our client’s “lost” assets, facilitate asset recovery and implement a perpetual lost property review.
6 Degrees has identified a number of other growth areas for the future that are explained in more detail later in this document. These areas will not be pursued until the Corporate Asset Recovery business is well established.
