We are a OTCBB listed company which mainly operates through its 70%-owned subsidiary, Dalian XInyang High-Tech Development Co which is based in CHina. Dalian Xinyang manufactures nano-meter cobaltosic oxide and lithium cobalt oxide, which are both the anode material of lithium-ion battery.
In the world, 90% of the cobalt mines are in Africa and 75% of the cobalt mines in Congo. CHina mainly depended on the importation of the cobalt ore from Congo before March, 2007. However, from March, 2007, Congo government issued a new policy which prohibited the direct exportation of cobalt ore, this made the whole CHina short of Cobalt ore.
