Description: (Promoting Academics through Creative Expression) P.A.C.E. is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles County. It was created in 2006 to bring Educational Music Entertainment Programs to LA County’s Middle and Senior High Schools in order to promote the relevance and importance of graduating high school through the medium of live music. The ultimate goal is to reduce the dropout rate in LA County by encouraging participation in local creative outlets and by providing positive, educated role models for students contemplating dropping out. The P.A.C.E. program is designed to motivate students in the areas of: • Improved classroom participation • Higher academic achievement • Increased participation in local creative outlets • Educational and personal perseverance • Character building We want to encourage youth 11 thru 18 to consciously commit to their educational success by using music as a vehicle to gain their attention. We support and commit to support education and want to plant the seeds of commitment to students on a global level.
