Description: My husband and I currently own a very successful heating and air conditioning company called Crossville Heating and Cooling in Crossville, TN. We are not looking to find investment for our current business. My husband and I have a Gas/ Lightening Safety Valve Patent Application Publication. You can find the information at (URL removed) Application number 13/528,960 . The direct link is (URL removed),960%22&OS="13/528,960"&RS="13/528,960" Please take a look at let me know if this is something you or someone you know would be interested in, or if you have any questions. We have not yet made a prototype or manufactured any valves. We have started by contacting CSST manufacturers about licensing our idea. We have a few CSST manufacturers that are very interested in this product, some even saying it could eventually become code. We are just trying to look at all of our options at the moment. We developed this idea through our heating and cooling company, based on a few lightening/ gas fires that had destroyed homes in our area. It is actually a large problem in the United States with some counties banning any flexible gas line product. You can find more information about this if you would like, on YouTube by searching: gas/ lightening fires, csst fires, csst and lightening, gas line and lightening and such. Just from the few meetings with have had with various gas line manufactures, I believe our product could become a huge success. There are several electrical codes and safeties, but nothing that can protect a home from gas leaking inside of it if the gas line is compromised by some type of electrical current such as lightening. In our county alone, which only has about 40,000 residents, we had 5 houses lost due to gas/ lightening fires in the last year! We have seen huge interest from our HVAC consumers, as gas is terrifying to most home owners. We have also seen huge interest from insurance companies. Once we work out the official engineering and manufacturing, I believe this product could skyrocket all the way to becoming a building code, and intend to work at it until it does. It is a huge investment opportunity for any investor as the gas line, gas valve industry is a 10 Billion dollar industry. I appreciate you taking a look at our idea and giving any input or referrals that you may have.
