Our company is presently in the process doing a biomass fuel production project (wood pellets) in Labrador, Canada. East Coast.. We will be producing 50,000+ ton/yr. in first phase. The forest industry is just emerging in this region and there are plenty of sources of feedstock available.. This district can sustain a 100,000+ t/yr. production of wood pellets.
Our district has a Eco-System Forest Management Plan in place.
The company owns the timber rights for vast amounts of burnt timber (timber burnt in forest fires)
that will be utilizing for this project. The words "Burnt Timber" are misleading, this timber is still standing and completely sound and with the added bonus of no bark and a moisture content of less than 14%, below the moisture content for pelletizing. We have had t
