Description: Mobiworx CC is a Gauteng based IT company providing bleeding edge access control solutions to corporate clients, residential estates, golf estates, government institutions and industry clients in South Africa, operating under the name 'Mobiworx'. Mobiworx offers the EVIM (Electronic Visitor Identification Management) product set as a solution closing the loophole in access control. Managing visitors is a challenge for most access control systems, simply because these systems focus on controlling the access rights of people whose identities we already know, namely employees. Visitors on the other hand are pretty much an unknown quantity we, to a greater or lesser extent, take at face value. from suppliers, customers and contractors to service providers and delivery or collection drivers. Based on Sagem's GPRS-enabled MT2G handheld biometric terminal. EVIM closes the biggest loophole in access control by identifying visitors to business premises and residential estates and registering their details electronically. Instead of writing in a visitors book, details are entered on the mobile terminal and visitors 'sign' with a fingerprint. Within seconds, EVIM confirms their identity and prints a gate pass. Time-based records are stored for a minimum of three years and are only available to authorized members of the premises being visited.
