Description:
My company is named the Buffalo 716ers. Established in October 2012, the Buffalo 716ers are a nonprofit sports entertainment company, which thrives on providing wholesome sports entertainment in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests. The organization established a men’s semi-professional basketball team in Buffalo, NY. Buffalo, NY has not had a professional basketball team since 1974, when the Buffalo Braves were in the NBA. Our city has every other sports team but the fans are dying for a professional basketball team. This is a chance to give athletes an opportunity to play basketball beyond college. The are a select few that get to live there dreams in the NBA, this an opportunity to continue alowing that college player a chance to play basketball, or an opportunity for a player to be seen by a overseas scout and get an opportunity to play. We are reaching out to local businesses and doing community events every other week. I am aware we need to give back and support the community as we have partnered up with different charities and youth organizations as well.
Here is our mission The Buffalo 716ers are a nonprofit sports entertainment company, dedicated to winning ABA Championships, enhancing the intellectual, physical, social, moral and cultural development of each athlete, making our community a better place to live through our support of worthy social causes, and most importantly giving our fans affordable, family oriented entertainment.
In pursuit of its mission, the Buffalo 716ers will work hard to emphasize the following core values:
* By providing wholesome entertainment which promotes positivity, safety, security, and fun for our guests.
*By showing respect, integrity, honesty, and professionalism in everything we do.
*By helping our sponsors grow their brand and business.
*By understanding and appreciating our fans, and knowing who they are.
*By reaching out to our fans and supporting events throughout the community.
*By striving to promote the importance of education within the school system.
*By working hard to gain new fans and support from the community.
*By working hard to make ABA basketball the most popular sport in our community.
