Description: Our Fine Arts Academy has been consistently fulfilling its mission of sharing inspirational stage productions for fourteen years. We purpose to give at risk youth an opportunity to complete their education while participating in on the job training programs. Students learn every area of the performing arts including all of the technical aspects and they are equipped to produce and tour a full production by the time they graduate. Recently the county in which we are proposing to expand and establish this full program lost accreditation from The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) which has brought on a county wide panic amongst students, parents and teachers alike. There is an enormous need for an alternative educational source in this county. We are positioned to supply this great need. By instituting a program of this magnitude, students will be able to gain accredited studies that will be accepted nationwide for college enrollment, parents will be at ease regarding the future of their children’s educational stability and teachers will get employment opportunities where the current student dis-enrollment is at an all time high because of the county’s loss of accreditation. Funding of this project will be life changing for generations to come.
