Franklin Inventions was originally established in the late 1800's when my gr gr grandfather invented the crank butter churn. In his lifetime, he patented and manufactured six products including a machine to form sheet metal and the early air conditioners for factories. He was working with Mr. Ford to air condition cars when he had a heart attack and died. As his patents have hung on my walls during my 16 year career at Merrill Lynch as a 401K wholesaler and Registered Investment Advisor, I have longed for the opportunity to create, develop and solve problems.
Re-launched in 2009, Frankllin Inventions "idea bank" holds 11 concepts for development. I took the easiest and least expensive product to develop first: a file tab that rotates 360 degrees and folds down for privacy or folds open for top viewing. It fits in slits of existing file folders and will be sold to major retailers and office supply wholesalers. It was patented in 2011 and was not easy, nor inexpensive!!!!
I am currently looking for investors to finance injection mold, samples and first run. This is an outstanding opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the first project and partner of future products.
