Somtech Recycling is a privately held family operated business in Alton, IL founded by Stuart Somlar Jr. We will offer e-waste recycling services to business and residential consumers in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area.
Somtech Recycling is built on the foundation of being globally responsible for the e-waste that continues to pile up in everyone’s closets and basements, which end up in our landfills leaching toxins into ground water. We will aggressively position our efforts to assist Illinois landfills to stay in compliance with the new Landmark Recycling and Reuse E-Waste Law. The law prohibits landfills from knowingly accepting any covered electronic devices for disposal.
