I have several concepts i would like to start in Norway, Sweeden and Denmark. The first is a chiplotle style mexican fast food. There is no competition and a huge disposible income hear for this type of food. i have spent the last year interveiwing people and researching locations. And what always comes up is lack of mexican style foods. The food cost is about the same as USA labor is 100 higher but the average cover price is 150% higher. Example a big mac meal is $20 in Norway so this will be our average ticket price. i intend to open up to 200 locattions across Scandinavia either with franchise or private or corporate ownership.
i amalso interested in developing the largest log built Hotel in Norway. I have 20 + years in Hospitality and Resort development experience, with 15 start ups under my belt.
The econmy is strong in Scandinavia and the margians are huge. Do to me having a norwegian wife it has alowed me to move hear last year to take advantage of this wealth.
The reason for the fst food concept to start my wealth hear it is a fast way to get profitable to move on to lager projects. There are many so much oportunity hear it is like a crime, the norwegian people are quite content with there daily lives and are not very aggresive in business.
