Service Description:
Contact4Me is a subscription based identification, next of kin and medical alert system. Contact4Me manages a database system which makes it easy and fast for emergency services (ambulance, paramedics, hospitals, etc) to access the emergency contact and medical information of Contact4Me members.
Each Contact4Me membership includes various items (i.e. key rings, wallet-size card), all bearing a unique ID number, which can identify contacts and medical data via the call centre by phone.
Accessing such information is essential for
a) Faster identification of victims and their families to produce a better humanitarian result
b) Emergency services to enable then to do their job faster and more effectively
c) Access to medical data and improved medical care
d) Relieving the pressure on the communications networks in times of mass emergencies
Company and Management:
Contact4Me was launched in September 2006 by Steven and Sue Salik. The company was born after a number of personal events triggered Steven and Sue’s need to help emergency services to quickly and easily identify and notify the next of kin of victims in an emergency situation.
Steven and Sue have extensive experience in the medical field as well as internet marketing. Together they have started, managed and sold various businesses.
