My partner and I have over 60 years experience in the Canadian Mortgage Industry. With the recent pullback by lenders in the sub-prime marketspce, a significant void exists. This is the ideal time for the formation of a Mortgage Investment Company which is what we are doing. We have most of the legal work completed, developed a good network of investors to fund the mortgages however we need further funding to launch the project. We have outlined our policies and procedures, established Corporate Governance Practices, have a "Final Draft" version of our Offering Memorandum and Subscription Agreements, have established mortgage origination plans with a large lending institution and are prepared for the administration of the portfolio.
