Description: I am pleased to announce My Hero! is offering equity investment ownership at $30,000 per 5% stake with 8 units available. Stephan Boillon has already invested $30,000 and will be investing a further $30,000 and co-signing an SBA loan and personally guaranteeing the lease for $700,000.. Stephan would ultimately like to buy out all investors over the course of ten years. My Hero! will be a counter-service sub shop in downtown DC. Principle has 20 successful years in food service. Need investors to fund start-up and provide working capital. Investors will have share of the business & will share in profits. My Hero! will fill a void in the downtown D.C. lunchtime market. Anyone who knows DC, knows that there are a few good toasted subs, some decent Italian subs and plenty of, run-of-the-mill chain subs, but no good old fashioned cold subs. By pairing his five-star culinary expertise with funky, casual counter service, Stephan Boillon will bring the classic hero back to vogue. Using the finest ingredients (veggie & vegan options available of course), Stephan will recreate the perfect over-stuffed submarine with as many or as few of the trimmings desired. Working with local contacts in the restaurant industry to recruit and hire the best staff, Stephan will ensure that the quality of services matches the top-notch quality of his food. With a commitment to service and a solid foundation running some of the best (and most profitable) kitchens in South Florida, Stephan will provide an experience that will make people want to come back again and again. A natural leader, Stephan will easily manage the small staff required to run the business and hopes to expand operations from the current proposed location (near the White House) throughout downtown D.C., Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland within 5-7 years. Stephan has a proven track record of success, and a sound commitment to fiscal responsibility--maintaining an average 30-32% food cost during his tenure at numerous "white table cloth" restaurants. At the current proposed location and pricing assumptions, My Hero! has only to serve a minimum of 360 people a day (Mon-Fri; 11:00am-4:00pm) to break even. Profits projections are promising, with 24% margin or $450,000 on the extremely conservative side to a more realistic 35%-40% or $650,000-$1,000,000 yearly gross profits. Low overhead coupled with high quality product ensures strong profit potential, while the fairly aggressive expansion plan to create two more stores in the second year increases opportunity for growth. Construction costs will be $450,000 including all equipment, furniture and fixtures. Consultant fees will be $80,000 (architect, engineer, graphic design) $50,000 in working capital and the remaining $20,000 for opening inventory. A lease is already being negotiated and the design of the space and branding are well under way, Stephan is close to going to permitting. Opening day could be as early as September 1st if financing comes through quickly.
