Description:
Junk Rock Girl (founded in 2009 and legally incorporated in 2011), is the product of my obsession with vintage and designer resale fashions and helping people save money when purchasing these stylish items. I'd rather have someone brag about paying $25.00 for some $200 jeans than paying $3k for a bag that will be replaced next week. In this economy, we need to do what it takes to keep up. My life's dream was to have a shop of this nature and I made that come true in 2008, when I opened a vintage clothing shop on Siesta Key in Florida that I closed when my husband got transferred back to Atlanta in 2010. We are now back here and I'm dying inside, wanting to be doing more with my creativity and all of the inventory that I have.
I am seeking between $5,000 and $25,000 in financing for my business. I'm in the process of purchasing a vintage school bus to become the first legally licensed clothing van in Atlanta! I will use the money to purchase the vehicle, update it to be super fly, add a bit more inventory and update my website. I want to build this mobile business as the first fully licensed vehicle of it's type in Atlanta. There is one gal doing this here but through my contacts and numerous meetings/phone calls with city commissioners and police officers, this isn't allowed now. Right now, only food carts are allowed and I am going to change that.
My site is (URL removed) and there you will learn more about my business and what my product offerings are. I have a presence on Facebook and Twitter as well, under @junkrockgirl. I really appreciate your time and am happy to give you any more info that you wish to have.
