This is the first time I am seeking an Angel investor so I don't know exactly what to write here, so here goes. My partner and I have created a supplement that will fit in the digestion category (more specifics upon further talks) but has not yet been created by anyone else. One of the top formulators in the country did the formulation and R&D of this product. We have the packaging and art work picked out and are ready for manufacturing. The product could be on shelves in health food stores in 3 months! The profit margin is reasonable and the footprint on the shelf by the register is small. We are looking for 200k for the first few runs of the product as well as marketing budget. Between the 3 of us (the naturopathic dr, the formulator and myself)we have many contacts in the industry and have no issue with the product getting placed in chains such as wholefoods and vitamin shoppe. We were also considering private labeling for some big name companies that could use digestive supplement in their product line. Any guidance or strategies offered will be appreciated.
