Description:
New BSV (Bon Secour Village) is being founded to finish what is already started. To create a town within a town in Gulf Shores AL. Architect Andres Duany (designer of Rosemary Beach and Seaside in FL panhandle) designed the layout of the entire project. After being involved in several projects in Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Watercolor and Alys Beach it became clear that finishing what was already started was the direction i needed to go.
This project needs some redesign! The original plan was excellent. It will not fit in Gulf Shores AL. The original concept will also cost more than its return. The new concept will return more profits.
The Marina, and some of the retail will stay. Adding an Amphitheater, amenities and a larger residential community, both single family and mixed used facilities will make New BSV the most popular spot in Gulf Shores, close (within walking or biking distance) to retail, marine, activities and a short shuttle to the beach.
I am intersted in taking on partners to purchase all of the parcels of land and individual lots that made up the original bon secure village. The design center and semi completed marina. The redesign will be done by local architect and a proposal will be made to the City of Gulf Shores for funding for infrastructure completion and to help re energize the project and market it to buyers and retail companies interested in making New BSV home.
Local construction companies, suppliers and vendors will be used to begin building phase which will begin with the land surrounding the design center, mixed use and retail portions of the development, along with the revised plan for an amphitheater. It is expected that construction will begin by end of 2015 or earlier if funding goals are reached and revised plans are accepted by the City of Gulf Shores.
