Brave New World is a multi-faceted entertainment company that includes records, music/film production, marketing, publishing and management divisions. In 2008 the company’s President/CEO, Shyan Selah, was named Spokesperson and COO of the Jimi Hendrix Foundation, a non-profit organization. Since then Brave New World has taken on the responsibility of working on the behalf of the foundation as it relates to entertainment/business endeavors.
With its name and reputation quickly expanding, Brave New World is pleased to announce not only the release of Shyan’s debut album through Brave New World Records and KOCH Entertainment, but also numerous projects dedicated to rebranding the greatest musician of our time, Jimi Hendrix. Under Brave New World’s supervision, a series of product lines bearing Hendrix’s name and image are being developed. These product lines will include fashion, film/television, and musical tributes.
Based in Seattle, Brave New World has been involved in numerous local community activities including speaking engagements and appearances at schools and colleges in the area, as well as the production of its annual Black History Project, a musical community concert event that takes place every February in honor of Black History Month.
