Fields & Associates is a small NJ based minority owned organization that has a long-term commitment to growth, while helping to improve the environment.
Fields & Associates LLC is opening a manufacturing plant in Lapelle, MI to produce pellets for heating homes and commercial buildings. Currently, have secured a contract with MM Forest Products, producing pellets for their in home and business heating systems. MM has been in business for over 50 years. We were given signed guarantee by the CEO of MM, which stated that they will purchase all of the pellets produced by our company. We negotiated a price of $155.00 per ton at 65 tons per day, bringing in an estimated gross revenue of $4M a year. Fields & Associates is seeking $250,000, 6 year loan (bearing a 9% interest rate). This loan will be repaid from sales of the wood pellets that we currently have under contract.
Fields & Associates was established in April, 2004 as a sale and service company. After Hurricane Katrina, we realized the loss of most of our local customers and a destruction of all the properties we owned. We then switched our focus to pulling and installing trailers for the local residents in the Mississippi and Louisiana area. While working in Louisiana, Fields & Associates had 57 teams and 40 drivers installing and repairing Travel Trailers. In the first full year of operation we signed contracts totaling approximately $750,000. After completing these projects in Louisiana we relocated to the NJ area seeking new opportunities.
