Description:
Café Orleans-Morrow, reflects the opportunity to establish an exceptional restaurant with New Orleans style cusines. My goal is to insure that I have total build- out cost and equipment needed to be productive. Café Orleans mission is to be one of the best restaurants in the Georgia area. We will establish good customer relation by selling quality products and providing each customer with a high level of value and service. We seek to maintain long term relationships in order to fulfill customers’ needs.
This location is less than a mile away from a major mall (Southlake Mall) and major interstate. The highway that the restaurant is located on offers hundreds of thousands of local residents, shoppers, travelers, truckers, and college students that use this highway. With this high concentration of customers there are no Cajun restaurants in Morrow and a tremendous need for this restaurant that offer item for both the children and adults.
Restaurants/Caters earns a various range of income depending on the events and products sold. Caters delivers services in homes, hall, business meetings and outdoor settings. In order to achieve the goals I outlined in my yearly projected income statement, I will only need 20 % of the market.
My competition includes various restaurants and catering services such as Country Kitchen Café, Just Loafin, and Atlanta’s Party Platter Catering.
• Walter Express Soul Food Café is southern restaurant that has the same foods as most restaurants. Customers complain that the food has no flavor and there’s no variety.
• Just Loafin is a New Orleans style po boy restaurant that serves seafood specialties which does not taste very much like New Orleans; restaurant is located about 30 miles from Orleans Café.
• Atlanta Party Catering only has limited items for catering.
My competitive advantages include:
• Selection- I have made 20 personal recipes and tested them with different individuals and it was a success. Also, I’ve catered different events that went very well.
• Target marketing- Based on my research there isn’t any New Orleans style food restaurant/caters in Georgia. I’ve research that there are only two catering companies in the area and their menus are limited.
