My idea, a GREEN business of Aerial Photography, specializing in low altitude photography and video by using remote-control, solar and battery-operated vehicles/drones with water proof cameras rather than traditional aircraft that use fossil fuels to fly. To date, I have 1 camera and 2 drones with 1 transmitter. With a little investment, I would be able to afford the bigger (American Made) drone instead of the 2 that I purchased from Taiwan. Also I would be able to purchase more Go-Pro cameras (also American Made) and FPV (first person view) technology for real-time transmission. Additionally, I would be able to actually hire art/photography/media students from 4 local colleges, State College of Florida, University of South Florida, New College of Sarasota and Ringling School of Art) even talented high school students, therefore, putting people to work who really need it.
My business is all ready registered an LLC on 10/10/2010 and I have applied for a BBB rating. I have acquired a Dunn and Bradstreet number so I can apply for government contracts. I am currently working on my photography/video Portfolio for placement on my website. This business has endless opportunity. I have lived in the same home since 1988 and I have several business contacts interested in using my services. I simply need capital for the technology startup costs. I have 2 veterans who are partnered with me. 1 veteran with wartime service, the other with a degree in technology. I hold a business degree.
Examples of future clients: Surveyors, Construction Industry (3 Large Contractors all ready interested), Forensic Engineers (Orlando firm is all ready interested), REO Property Managers, Realtors (2 all ready interested), Banks, Mortgage Brokers, Developers, Investors (1 well-known local interested), Private Detectives, Surveillance, and I would be a valuable tool to assist Law Enforcement.
Examples of use: Assisting New Jersey Shore detectives in their search for more serial victims without disturbing any evidence. Port Authority officers in checking incoming vessels for illegal activity/smuggling/contraband/terrorism. Highway Patrol for traffic/accident photos and video. Hurricane/Earthquake/Tsunami video of buildings using low altitude video without risking human life. My list is endless.
