Sports City Sporting Goods began operations as a sole proprietorship with one store in DeSoto, Texas in 1989. A second store was opened in Burleson, Texas in 2001 and a corporation SCSG, Inc. (Sub-S) was formed in 2001. A third store was acquired in February of 2005 in Carrolton, Texas. Dwayne Todd & Shelley Singleton purchased 2/3rds of the Company’s stock in 2007 and the name was changed to Sports City Team Sport Outfitters. A fourth store is scheduled to open in Arlington, Texas in January of 2008.
