Description: I am a family medicine physician who travels to LatinAmerica and other regions teaching the ALSO course for safe OB as well as other life support course. I am now branching off to prepare teaching videos for the group. In a addition, I have been planning for many years some independant film projects and one is now in a preliminary stage of development. The house and land I purchased via private deal needs a lot of work, but several out buildig can be rehabbed. The barn, in particular can be rehabbed into a cutting and recording studio. There are few in this region, so it could become a good side business as well as personalvideo production spase. A few documentary and short -long features are in planning stages with colleagues in Spain, but no funding has been sought as yet. For the business, rehab of property and consolidation of student loan debt, $500,000, would be realistic, but if funding for some of the smaller scale projects were included, then potentially $1 million would cover everything. The long feature ideas will be dealt with later since the short project and 2 documentary series projects will provide valuable research towards the long projects. Finances permitting, I hope toenter the Zaki Gordon film institute in Sedona Az for the hands on film course year. The first 6 months would require full time which means I would be limited in my opportunity to work on call or urgent care work during that time frame. My updated cv will be available this week and if needed, I can send a business plan developed and sent in addition to summaries of current projects.
