Description:
Hi, my name is Shawn Smith and I am an O.R.U Graduate with a Bachelors in Business Management and Communications. Also, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 22 years. I would like to utilize my experience and business degree and open my own massage therapy clinic and have found a rare, prime location in the heart of the business/commercial community of West Knoxville, TN with an average of 76,000 residential homes. Daily traffic passing the business averages 319,000. This location is next to the premier shopping mall of East Tennessee, and is within minutes to The University of Tennessee.
My vision of opening Braziliance Massage Therapy Clinic would be to create an inviting environment where clients are met with the Brazilian culture in the relaxing lobby and are greeted with refreshing cucumber water and stellar customer service. So that, by the time clients leave after their message service, they feel like they walked into an oasis, escaping the trouble of the world for a moment of peace and tranquility. I intend to provide jobs for certified therapists who will cater to client's individual needs, using professionalism in order to establish lasting relationships. By offering more massage choices at such a convenient location, client's will benefit from these techniques and improve their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
What Is Needed
I am asking for $45,000 in order to open the business. The building was previously a chiropractic office and therefore would be an ideal set up for what I need. The space consists of 2800 square feet with 9 massage rooms, including a lobby, kitchen, administrative office, main office and restrooms. This gives the potential 2700 monthly member count with a potential of $1.5 million revenue a year. This would require hiring thirty therapists, preferably from the three local massage schools.
Included in this $45,000 is:
*Rent
*Equipment (Massage tables, towels, sheets, aromatherapy oils)
*Office Equipment (Computer, Cash Register, Office/Lobby Furniture)
*Washer/Dryer for in house laundry service
*Hiring Quality Staff/Massage Therapists
*Covering Opening Costs, Fees
If you contribute to my campaign, you would be enabling me to provide a place of renewal and restoration for the potential clients in this area.
Risks & Challenges
This opportunity presents minimal risks and the few challenges that arise can be quickly resolved. The space has been newly renovated specifically for this type of industry. With a few minor cosmetic updates, the business would be up and running in thirty days or less.
Other Ways You Can Help
This brings us to our supporters. You! As an investor, you would help us open the door for a wonderful opportunity in a lucrative service industry providing jobs for students who would be able to build on their resume and experience building lasting relationships with the West Knoxville residents and guests. Interested investors would be set up on a repayment schedule of 12 month term + 25% interest.
As a monthly member, you would provide the stability of income as well as reminding us of the many reasons why we wanted to start up this business. You would not just be a client, but part of our family. The 3 area massage schools would allow us to provide hope to the students who wonder, who will hire me?
Location, price, and quality service are just the roots for what we have in mind. Advertising via billboards, mail-outs, business cards, marketing via Internet and setting up a user-friendly website are a few of the ways we intend to make sure the roots we are planting receive the ability to turn a seed into a thriving business. Won’t you consider helping us plant our seeds for success?
I would like to thank you in advance for any and all interests in helping me start up Braziliance Massage Therapy Clinic. Together, we can make anything possible!
