Creative Delights Event Coordinators (“Creative Delights”) is a business with its principal address in San Diego, CA that provides full service event and wedding consulting and planning services. Our consultants have a vast array of knowledge and experience which provide our clients an extraordinary level service. Our services include planning and coordination of weddings, commitment ceremonies, honeymoons, receptions, corporate events, anniversary parties, budget planning, etiquette advice, as well as full-service referrals to an array of vendors such as stationers, florists, disk jockeys, musicians and more.
Creative Delights Event Coordinators would like to expand its focus and open a store front that will start with the services above as well as add retail in effort to grow with the following goals in mind:
5.1 Creative Delights Wedding & Event Lounge
(a) Bridal Store/mini café lounge
(i) Sell wedding accessories such as pre-made favors, invitations, bridal trousseau accessories, guest books, etc.
(ii) Create an indoor and outdoor café area – sell coffee, tea, chocolate confections, cookies and basic pastries.
(iii) Space needed (preferably an old house – 4 bedroom (or 3 large that we can split) plus living room, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms) in a semi-commercial zone for the following:
(1) front and back outdoor seating – approx. 10 tables each – can seat approx. 100 people total (50 front/50 back) (each outdoor space should be able to accommodate food stations; back outdoor space to be designed with a fountain, or other elements that will make it available for a small ceremony/reception rental)
(2) indoor seating – 4 small tables, sofa/chair/coffee table seating
(3) Counter/register area with display case for chocolate & pastries; back bar for coffee/tea machines & refrigeration
(4) Space needed for various display cases and shelving for accessory sales
(5) Bathroom (two handicap accessible, or whatever is required by code)
(6) Kitchen (make available for catering company for parties)
(7) Office (size to fit two desks with bookshelves and computer/printer/scanner/fax equipment)
(8) Special Event room for events such as baby showers, wedding showers, bridal parties, etc. – room to hold 20 people living room style (sofa/chairs/coffee tables/end tables)
(9) Work room – open plan room with design height tables and barstools for favor parties; preparing centerpieces or other craft items. Will use room as a work room for the wedding consultant side as well as a room that can be rented out for bride’s use to have a favor making bridal party using our design ideas and supplies.
(10) Small room where vendors can rent space for meeting clients and can provide an example of their book to be shelved for potential clients to review – small table with four to six chairs, wall of bookshelves.
(b) Wedding & Event Consultants
(i) Creative Delights Event Coordinators will continue to provide its normal consulting services to any clients in need using the café/lounge as an office and a marketing tool.
(ii) Will be able to provide more in depth services and give couples a discount on an event at the lounge when they book consultant services and vice versa.
