Botanical Skin Works, located in Baltimore, MD, is a manufacturer of premium natural and organic personal care products. In 2009, we began marketing the BSW brand in mass market retail outlets. We partnered with successful independent sales representatives to obtain major accounts. Our products have now been accepted by several large chain stores including Whole Foods, Big Y, Roundy’s, Woodman’s, and Giant. Some orders have begun to come in and larger ones are expected. Our current manufacturing processes are "artisanal" and only suitable for small batches. We are seeking investment capital to quickly expand production capacity to meet the demand of our current and future clientèle. We are in search of $500k for initial operating/growth capital for equipment, raw materials, & support staff. An additional $500k in funding will be needed for marketing, facility expansion, and additional personnel and equipment.
We are interested in receiving equity funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) from one or more sources to meet our needs. This is a great opportunity in that the demand has already been established for our products and the industry is booming.
