Description:
Pet Chow Wagon - Pet food Delivery Service
Pet Chow Wagon is a pet food delivery service. The mission is to deliver quality brand named pet foods to households who are in need but unable to get the product themselves. Our couriers will be honest, kind, and courteous. Our team will be neat in appearance and knowledgeable about the products we deliver and will do our best to gain a loyal customer following.
Pet Chow Wagon will need a commercial business warehouse that doubles as a store front location for any customer that choose to walk in and pick up their delivery order if they have missed their scheduled delivery.
The location will store an inventory of fish food, reptile food, bird food, rodent food, cat food, and dog food. The business would need one cashier on location. The cashier would handle the walk in customers as well as the incoming inventory. The cashier would be wearing a uniform, the shirt bearing the company logo and dark colored labor pants.
Our main delivery method would be via truck or van; and the company would need the security of a gas credit card in order to keep vehicles constantly on the road. There is a need for at least two vehicles as well as two drivers. The drivers will wear a uniform, the shirt bearing the company logo and dark colored labor pants. The company would need a communication service that will enable workers to keep information current between the team.
The preferred method of payment of the Pet Chow Wagon will be cash and credit/debit cards. The company would need the ability to run credit/debit cards and would require a subscription to a credit card service. The use of the Insta-check program is a must to insure valid checks as payment for our products & services.
Our company goals are to be the leader in local pet food delivery service and set the standard to any following competitive businesses. Our objectives would be to meet annual sales targets and to find a yearly medium between our inventory and our profits.
This seems to be a fairly untapped industry on a local level. There seems to be potential for major growth. The city and its surrounding cities are growing. It is safe to assume the pet population isn’t slowing down. With the incorporation of internet sales and delivery via the postal service this company will thrive. By keeping product prices lower than local pet and grocery stores and the continuing development of honest business practices this company will hold its own in the delivery service fields.
Currently, the Pet Chow Wagon is under sole proprietorship due to being a start up business in a wavering economy, but within five years and positive productivity it will become a corporation.
